Heat Exchanger Espresso System

The 1.8L copper heat exchanger boiler is designed for efficient home espresso preparation. Unlike a single-boiler machine, the heat exchanger system allows you to brew espresso and steam milk at the same time. This makes preparing multiple cappuccinos, lattes or other milk drinks faster and more convenient.

The 1350W boiler works with the vibration pump to provide reliable pressure for everyday espresso brewing. Water is supplied from the removable 2.5L internal reservoir, making the machine easy to install without a direct water connection.

Genuine E61 Brew Group

The Rocket Espresso Appartamento 2.0 uses a genuine E61 brew group made from chrome-plated brass. The E61 group is well known for its durability, thermal stability and traditional espresso brewing performance.

Its mechanical design provides natural pre-infusion as the group fills with water, helping to gently saturate the coffee puck before full brewing pressure is reached. Combined with a 58 mm brew group diameter, the Appartamento 2.0 works with the standard size commonly used for professional espresso equipment.

Appartamento 2.0 Improvements

The Appartamento 2.0 keeps the compact design and traditional operation of the original Appartamento while adding several practical improvements for everyday use.

The deeper drip tray provides more space for larger latte glasses and tall cups. New RGB LED indicators provide clear visual feedback on water level, temperature and machine operating status. A water tank sensor helps prevent interruptions when the reservoir becomes low, while revised internal components provide improved corrosion resistance and long-term reliability.

The reshaped steam and hot water wands also make positioning easier and safer during everyday use. The steam wand features a no-burn design for more comfortable operation.

Compact Stainless Steel Construction

The Appartamento 2.0 is built with a stainless steel housing and steel frame, giving the machine a strong and durable structure while maintaining its clean Italian appearance. Its compact 274 mm width makes it particularly suitable for apartments, smaller kitchens and home coffee stations.

The distinctive side panels feature twelve circular cutouts that give the Appartamento its recognizable Rocket Espresso design. The machine is available in four versions: stainless steel with white dots, stainless steel with black dots, stainless steel with copper brown dots, and stainless steel with brown wood handles and knobs.

Simple Traditional Operation

The Rocket Appartamento 2.0 is designed for espresso enthusiasts who prefer traditional machine controls rather than a digital display. It does not include PID temperature control, a built-in shot timer or variable pressure profiling.

This simpler approach keeps the machine focused on the fundamentals of espresso preparation, while the E61 group, heat exchanger boiler and vibration pump provide the core features needed for high-quality home espresso and milk drinks.
