It's CE certified for sale in the UK and EU, and built for someone who wants genuine Artisan-capable drum roasting without the M2's larger footprint or 400g ceiling.

Choose your control at checkout, same as the rest of the range: Standard (Kaleido's own tablet, plug-and-roast), Pro (Artisan only, bring your own device), or Dual (tablet plus Artisan connectivity).

None of the M1's price advantage against the M2 comes from a simplified roasting system - the heating, cooling, and control architecture are the same family. What you're trading for the lower price is capacity: 200g rather than 400g per batch, and less headroom if you're planning to scale up later.
