Caramel Vienne 20 Malt | Specialty Brewing Malt

A medium Belgian Crystal malt that provides a slight toasty flavor and residual caramel sweetness. Caramel Vienne (also known as Caravienne) is commonly used by Belgian breweries in producing Abbey or Trappist-style ales. Caravienne and Caramunich have a different flavor contribution than the Crystal malts listed above. Some describe the flavor as slightly toffee-ish.
